Food Service Assistant Lead, 

Full Time; 6:30 am -3:00 pm (Mon. thru Fri.)
Every 4th Weekend
Rotating Holidays

 

General Summary

Oversees and monitors dishwashing and cleaning operations in kitchen/dishwashing areas and performs a variety of other related tasks, following standard practices and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Oversees the work of other personnel by training, allocating and monitoring work. Performs work of a similar nature.
• Directs dishwashing/cleaning operations and performs and/or delegates tasks such as tray stripping; loading,
• unloading, and operating dishwasher; pot and pan washing; cleaning of kitchen equipment, carts, and other equipment
• used in food production and service as well as in cleaning operations.
• Directs and monitors workflow to and from dishwasher to maintain an even flow of used dishes, trays, silverware, etc.
• through the various cleaning operations and checks for bottlenecks and overloads.

Common Expectations:

• Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.
• Attends meetings as required.

Minimum Education:

• None Required
• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Work Experience:

• Up to 1 month. Required
