The Role
In this role, the Design Researcher will play a key part in supporting the strategy and development of new products and applying best practices for overall user experience, as well as user testing (quantitative and qualitative methodologies). This work will focus on internal innovation teams seeking to learn “intrapreneurial” skills and bring new ideas to life.
We are looking for someone with a desire to participate in ground-breaking collaboration, a bias towards action, the ability to accept failure and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and someone who can play, learn and have fun. We love people who think the world would be a better place if we rolled up our sleeves and made prototypes, so we can get quick feedback from real users.

You have a strong interest in analyzing consumer trends and customer feedback to add new product ideas and themes into the pipeline
You understand the importance of conducting competitive analysis to ensure the team is on top of the dynamic landscape
You can work with others across the firm to collaboratively learn more about Fidelity
The ability to get to ‘why’: ability to create clarity while navigating vague problem spaces and balancing stakeholder needs
Skills in quantitative research manipulated to create qualitative results, ie writing screeners and surveys using remote testing for researching early-stage prototypes
Developing skill in identifying hidden customer segments and latent customer needs
Communicate in a powerful and clear way. Use research insights to create an emotional connection with customers.
