Summary of Job Duties:

The Communication Sciences and Disorders program in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas is seeking to fill a 9-month, full-time Clinical Instructor position beginning in August of 2024. There may be opportunities to work in the summer (for additional pay) if desired. The responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, mentoring students, serving on advisory committees, participating in public service and professional organizations, engaging in service activities in the program, department, college, and university levels, and providing clinical speech-language pathology services and supervision at the University of Arkansas Speech and Hearing Clinic.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned Master’s degree (M.S.) from an accredited institution

• At least three years of experience providing clinical services as a speech-language pathologist

• Earned Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
