The Cardiac Rhythm Management R&D PMO is looking for Product Development Program Managers (PDMs) to lead the development of key medical device programs on CRM Core Teams and support post market changes on released products to keep products on the market. Development programs include new products and released product development of implantable cardiac devices, pacing/defibrillation leads and the support instruments. Post market changes are driven by required product design changes, component obsolescence, supplier changes, standards and regulations changes, and margin expansion initiatives. The PDMs team member provides critical Program Management expertise to enable crisp execution in a cross-functional matrixed environment, encompassing Design, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, and Quality.

This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.

  • Overseas and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.

  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements:  To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a technical discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Engineering, OR Advanced degree in Engineering, or technical discipline with 3 years of work experience
