Overall Purpose:

The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible for collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting primary and secondary data, consumer demographics and behavioral data, business financial performance, and operational data to drive actionable business recommendations.

This position will be accountable for interacting horizontally across the Early Warning organization, including but not limited to technology, security, product, Operations, and risk to understand intentional changes to the operating environment and changes to the threat environment to assess the impact on the experience, expense or risk exposure within the network.


Essential Functions:

  • Build infrastructure, process, and tools to enable the collection, analysis, synthesis, and reporting of primary and secondary data
  • Consult with business leaders to determine the best analytical approaches to drive actionable insights, including information strategies and the development to measure success
  • Provides effective leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance teams to build out business intelligence and analytics solutions.
  • Design and develop critical data integration and analytic solutions to support business projects
    Present analytics solutions and results to all levels of business and technical leadership, and external partners.
  • Enable processes and infrastructure to facilitate the organization’s internal business intelligence functions supporting Fraud Risk Management
  • Create and apply data-driven insights for constant monitoring of effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities in managing fraud risk.
  • Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting systems and data integrity and confidentiality.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education or experience typically obtained through completion a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum seven or more years of related business intelligence experience, including 3 or more years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading essential business functions, developing strategic direction, and implementing processes to achieve strategies
  • Proven track record of converting complex concepts and analysis to actionable strategies
  • Combination of analytical rigor and creative problem-solving strength
  • Practical influence management skills in communicating and persuading business leaders, with emphasis on the use of data to support critical decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Drug and background screening


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transforming analytics and business intelligence infrastructure, processes, and tools
  • Additional related education and experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $129,000 - $161,000.
New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $154,000 - $193,000.
