Do you have a passion for design, talent, influencing at all levels, and leading change for the better?  We are hiring a Project Manager on the Chief of Staff team for Research and Design Operations at Capital One. Our team is fast paced and composed of motivated team members. We are seeking a Project Manager who is highly organized and process focused who will enable continued delivery on some of our organization’s top priorities. You will be an integral part of the Chief of Staff team, focusing on program delivery that helps drive our well managed organization forward.

What You’ll Own:

• You will lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to project stakeholders, partners, and peers

• You will focus on programs that are part of our key priorities of the design organization

• You will design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

• You will ensure project documentation and playbooks are designed and maintained to allow for reuse and scaling

• You will leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent

• You will partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive program delivery

• You will build relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• You will drive well managed practices across our portfolio

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience enabling Design and Research Teams

• 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Resource Management

• 3 years of experience in managing complex budgets

• 2 years of communication and events experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.<
