Senior Integration Engineer - Ecosystems Engineering (Hungary)

The Red Hat Ecosystems Engineering group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with a diverse team of highly motivated engineers on Kubernetes operator development and/or partner integration and adoption of technologies supporting edge and telco 5G use cases. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with upstream Kubernetes communities.

What you will do

• Work on supporting existing and developing new Kubernetes operators on multiple platforms and architectures
• Contribute to automation (CI)
• Interface with Red Hat partners to assist with hardware enablement for Red Hat OpenShift

What you will bring

• Good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems internals - Systemd, kernel modules, kABI
• Knowledge of Golang and Kubernetes operator development
• Working in an agile environment
• Experience with CI tools and processes is a plus
• Knowledge of Ansible, Python, Bash, and C++ is a plus
• Understanding of server hardware components, storage technologies, high speed interconnects, RDMA/FPGA devices is an advantage
• Networking technologies such as NFV and SDN are an advantage
• Good written and verbal English language skills
