Here, you'll be an indispensable member of our healthcare system, playing a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic information that empowers our physicians to deliver exceptional care to our community, from our youngest newborns to our cherished elders.

Your Essential Role:

• Become a Specimen Specialist: Skillfully receive and process a diverse range of specimens, ensuring the integrity of samples for crucial analysis.
• Master of Laboratory Techniques: Apply your knowledge across microbiology, hematology, serology, clinical chemistry, and morphological examinations, showcasing your versatile expertise.
• The Foundation of Accurate Diagnosis: Generate reliable and reproducible test results using cutting-edge technology, providing the essential data for informed medical decisions.
• Guardian of Quality Standards: Meticulously document your findings in accordance with laboratory policies and stringent regulatory standards (FDA, AABB, CLIA, etc.), upholding the highest quality of patient care.
• Contribute to 24/7 Care: Participate in our on-call rotation, ensuring that critical laboratory services are available to our patients when they need them most. In addition to your regular compensation, you'll receive on-call pay for being available, and if you are called back to the lab, you will be compensated at time and a half for the hours worked. This vital aspect of the role requires flexibility and dedication to providing continuous support for patient care.

What You Bring to the Lab:

• An Associate's Degree of Applied Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology – your foundational knowledge is essential!
• Current MLT (ASCP) or equivalent (CLS) certification – your dedication to excellence is recognized.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – because every aspect of patient care matters.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical lab environment – you've honed your skills and are ready for the next step.
• Flexibility for On-Call Responsibilities: You understand and are willing to participate in the required on-call rotation to support the needs of a 24/7 healthcare environment.
