As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist, you will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert within the lab. Primary duties include:

Investigating and developing new or modified test procedures while reviewing and refining existing protocols.

Overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.

Identifying staff training needs and assessing the competency of testing personnel.

Writing and maintaining SOPs and developing training materials.

Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour


Job Qualifications

Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.• Bachelor’s degree.• Minimum of 4 years of licensed CLS experience.• Strong knowledge and experience in Urinalysis.• Proficiency in evaluating Gram stains.• Experience with procedure and report writing.• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.• Demonstrated experience in validation, testing, and troubleshooting.• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
