Job Summary:
The role of the Education Data Tech is to maintain and support student and staff educational data. Collect,
manage and ensure data integrity for student assessment and Lesson Plan management across all age groups
(infant-school-age). Provide on-going technical support for the educational systems and maintain accuracy
and reliability of the systems; along with adherence to due dates as outlined by our program requirements.
Ensure compliance with State and Federal reporting regulations.
Essential job functions
Educational Data:
- Set up the agency student assessment system (Desired Results Developmental Profile) (DRDP)
- Ensure accurate entry of all students into the agencies DRDP collection system and DRDP Online.
- Monitor accuracy of the data fidelity for student assessments at the point of entry.
- Follow all systems for student adds/drops/changes.
- Ensure Dual Language Learners (DLL) and children with an IFSP/IEP are accurately flagged in the assessment system.
- Monitor completion of conditional measures and DDL measures for identified children.
- Upload DRDP data into the agency DRDP Online system.
- Monitor completion of DRDP reports and ensuring timely submission by classroom.
- Meet with Site Directors to review DRDP completion following the agencies identified timeline.
- Create the annual agency timeline for student assessment and upload.
- Process individual child reports after each rating period and share them with the Site Directors.
- Support upload of Parent/Teacher Conferences into the agencies identified data collection system.
- Support monitoring of Parent/Teacher Conferences to ensure they are completed within the agency timeline.
- Collaborate with the Education Team at the end of reporting periods to analyze educational data.
- Support the Director of Child Development with educational data related to the annual Program SelfEvaluation.
- Monitor center Lesson Plans, ensuring completion and all classrooms are following the required submission dates.
- Create micro-trainings and T&TAs for any identified data areas needing support.
- Produce and present an annual report showcasing the results of all educational assessments conducted at the site level.
- Support sites and staff with critical data requirements as needed.
- Support data collection, reporting, and monitoring for state, local, and federal requirements.
Requirements
Minimum requirements
- Preferred experience with data collection and database management.
- Preferred experience with data entry and management of the Desired Results Developmental Profile Tool (DRDP)
- Preferred experience uploading data into DRDP Online, ChildPlus, Learning Genie, and Care Connect.
- Basic data cleaning skills, ability to identify and correct inconsistencies with data sets.
- Experience with data collection, entry and analyzation
- Exceptional computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, ZOOM)
- Ability to handle and organize large amounts of data.
- Ability to communicate data interpretations to key team members.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at various locations, as needed
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children
- Ability to bend and squat to interact with children
