Description Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide global leadership for financial planning and analysis activities performed in support and partnership with our segment business units finance teams.  This includes coordination, production and global alignment of templates, reports, dashboards and analyses. This role requires strong collaboration with business unit CFO’s and commercial finance teams, operations finance and accounting and reporting teams among others.

Scope of the Role

• Provide support and partnership to the business unit FP&A teams.
• Responsible for all FP&A activities performed in support of the business unit within Perrigo including the development of global FP&A templates, reports, dashboards and preparation of the analysis and supporting presentations used by the management teams within the business units globally.
• Ensuring the FP&A support for our business units is valuable and provides the appropriate insight to the business unit finance teams. This includes review of the support provided by the staff within the business unit FP&A teams.
• Leading FP&A support for special projects and providing support for monthly ad hoc analysis including: ROIC, accretion/dilution metrics, long term growth metric, gross margin bridges; adherence to LRP/Plan/Flex targets etc.
• Develop consistency of data generated by the business unit FP&A teams in preparation of MBR, QBUR, Annual Plan and LRP presentations
• Coordination with business unit finance teams to support corporate timelines and processes and required analysis.
• Ensuring business unit FP&A support is connected and aligned with corporate FP&A support.
• Playing a key role in leading the development of EDW and PowerBI capabilities including self-service dashboards and tools to be rolled out to leadership teams throughout Perrigo.

Experience Required

• This individual should display an ability to collaborate with others outside their immediate team; be able to influence and drive change; adapt quickly to changing needs in a fluid environment, while displaying a strong commitment to deliver results within required timelines.
• This individual should have excellent analytical skills, a strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
• Must possess comprehensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis with a thorough understanding of analytical methods in a variety of accounting and operational sources.
• Requires expert MS Excel skills along with PowerPoint, EDW, PowerBI and SAP experience.
• BPC experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and management skills are essential.
• These skills are normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting in addition to an MBA or CPA with 7-10 or more years of progressive responsibility in finance with direct FP&A experience in a large company setting.
