Supply Chain Planning is responsible for ensuring the right quantity of products arrive in the right place, at the right time and cost. This job family is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning, supply planning, deployment planning, inventory planning, collaborative planning, expediting, purchasing and the design and implementation of the supply chain network. Supply Chain Planning utilized supplier contracts and manufacturing parameters to exceed customer service level commitments while optimizing supply chain costs and inventory. Supply Chain Planning leverages technology to achieve best in class processes to position supply chain as a competitive advantage.
Job Summary
The CPFR Planner, Key Accounts Planning is part of the Supply Chain Key Account Inventory Planning team. This team plays an important role for our organization in driving service level improvements to our customers through collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment. This customer facing role is transformational and responsible for capturing valuable insights and feeding them back into our supply chain. This can be done by utilizing data analytics and established KPIs to drive customer supply chain performance to enable sales growth, and works with internal customers to improve processes and evaluate performance that ultimately improves the supply chain. This role is dedicated support for Kaiser Permanente.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements collaborative planning, forecast and replenishment processes to drive forecast accuracy and alignment.
- Understands and meets goals for service level, days of inventory on hand, purchase order expediting, and others established KPI’s.
- Develops long term relationships and strong rapport with customer, sales, and internal counterparts to continually improve customer experience.
- Continuously seeks opportunities for process improvement to drive maturity and results.
- Runs and analyzes data from multiple data sources to understand the root cause of a problem or low metric, drive corrective action and escalate concerns.
- Utilizes influencing, communication, and collaborative skills to partner with all internal customers (i.e. Sourcing, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) and external Supplier Partners to ensure timely delivery of products to assigned distribution centers and the efficiency of our Supply Chain.
- Responsible for ensuring product is available and we meet customers service commitments
- Provide support with data analytics, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of inventory concerns or issues
- Conduct weekly and monthly calls with customer to review performance, inventory levels, and future demand/supply
- Perform trend analysis to report inconsistencies with forecasts and actual sales
- Support Customer Account Team to identify opportunities and/or risks
- Responsible for identifying and mitigating future service level disruptions
- Placing purchase orders and analyzing inventory on hand vs. customer demand/forecast to see what products we need to order
- Works with suppliers to receive product status updates and resolve issues
- Communicate information clearly and effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment (CPFR) preferred.
- APICS certifications preferred
- Experience with client facing planning preferred.
- Experience in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) preferred
- SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, reporting tools (Tableau, Business Objects, and MS Access/Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Anticipated salary range: $66,500 – $94,900
