Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 5%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 5%

About This Job

The AVP, Relationship Onboarding Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and oversight of both onshore and offshore staff supporting back-office operations. This role manages critical functions, including new account openings, account maintenance, check deposits, official check printing, and other assigned operational activities. The AVP, Relationship Onboarding Operations Manager will also oversee the quality control (QC) team, ensuring timely identification, remediation, and resolution of processing errors while maintaining adherence to department service level agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate will provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, contribute hands-on support to account onboarding and processing functions, and act as a key partner with leadership to promote a culture of operational excellence, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise onshore and offshore staff responsible for new account processing, maintenance, deposits, and official check printing
• Oversee the quality control team, ensuring effective review processes and timely remediation of findings
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional growth and strong performance
• Ensure departmental SLAs are consistently achieved across onboarding, servicing, and processing functions
• Monitor workflow, quality, and productivity for both onshore and offshore units
• Support the VP with oversight of day-to-day operations and escalation management
• Perform new account processing tasks, including onboarding, file maintenance, and review of vesting changes
• Respond to servicing tickets and client research requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Execute manual check deposits and official check printing as required
• Lead quality control reviews for the processing unit and oversee remediation activities
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including AML, BSA, and KYC requirements
• Promote risk awareness and reinforce adherence to bank policies, procedures, and operational controls

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of prior experience providing operational support in a commercial banking environment
• 1+ year's of supervisory experience managing operations staff, including offshore teams preferred
• Strong knowledge of banking products, account onboarding, and back-office operations
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including AML, BSA, and KYC
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remediate issues effectively
