Peraton Citizen Security and Public Services (CS&PS) Sector seeks an experienced Program Manager to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer. This is a key personnel role and subject to Government approval based on evaluation of qualifications.
The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program performance. This includes achieving program financial commitments, identification, and management of operational and financial risks, and driving on-contract growth in alignment with customer requirements. The Program Manager leads the integration and coordination with the Government Program Manager, Program Management Office (PMO), Teaming partners, vendors, and subcontractors.
This position will be remote however it will require the ability to attend regular on-site customer meetings at FAA headquarters in Washington, DC.
What you'll do:
- Understanding the FAA mission, customer space, and information technology operating environment to act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Driving continual improvement across customer relationship, technical, business, and vendor relationship aspects of program performance.
- Ensure that all programmatic level responsibilities (e. g., staffing, programmatic deliverables, monthly reporting, ad hoc requests, etc.) are completed in a timely, accurate, and quality manner.
- Deliver projects according to agreed-upon timeline, budget, and scope. Create actions for risk mitigation and formulate complex project/program plans and schedules.
- Manage team and individual performance; identify, resolve, and monitor customer escalations.
- Work with project teams to manage/oversee the full range of the project life cycle methodology for projects with focus on the business needs.
- Establish and manage relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with an objective of maintaining and building the business.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or science
- Bachelor’s and fifteen (15) years, Master’s Degree and ten (10) years
- Years of experience must include at least five (5) years providing management of complex programs for the FAA
- Must possess five (5) years of specialized experience directly supervising and managing major projects with an average total value of $100M or greater involving integration, implementation, and transition of large complex systems and subsystems
- Experience in complex technical project management and solution implementation with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation.
- Ability to flex to identify and solve problems quickly with a strong bias for action and meeting commitments
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills, including regular executive-level presentations
- Familiarity with the FAA operating environment, policy, governance, and leadership
- Experience managing a program level P&L and driving on-contract growth
- Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of programmatic deliverables
- Demonstrated experience with facets of personnel management and leader development
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
