The Opportunity
This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location in the Structural Heart division.
Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist
Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
What You’ll Work On
• Perform Material Movements both physically and systematically
• Perform Purchase Order Receipts in ERP system (SAP)
• Perform cycle counting as required
• Monitor packaging material inventory on hand
• Interact with packaging suppliers or supply item suppliers as needed to replenishment kanban inventory. (Stephen Gould)
• Maintain a neat and safe work environment
• Work in a cross functional team environment
• Some areas will require the handling of chemicals with proper training provided
• Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
• Clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to both manufacturing management and engineering
• Support warehouse activities within a specified scope (e.g. shipping, receiving, cycle counts.)
• Assist logistics with domestic and international shipments. (e.g. request HTS code from Customs and Trade team)
• Exhibits professionalism to internal and external customers at all times.
• Work with internal customers to resolve problems relating to work performed within the warehouse.
• Must work over time as required for business needs
• Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years’ related experience required
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office required
