Job Summary:
Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join our Denver, CO office. This position will be responsible for supporting the business operations by handling a variety of administrative tasks with precision and efficiency. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage priorities with exceptional attention to detail is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment as they provide support to a team of high-performing professionals.
Flexible Schedule: This part-time position averages 26 hours per week. The role offers flexible scheduling with primary work hours from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Location: Onsite in downtown Denver, CO
Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour, with the rate determined based on relevant experience and qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform general administrative tasks for a team of 15 professionals, along with executive-level support for designated individuals
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
- Coordinate and maintain records for staff phones, credit cards, parking, and office keys
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reports
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with landlord and office contractors
- Assist IT with troubleshooting technical problems by following instructions to resolve issues
- General office management, including organization of stock rooms, stocking kitchen items and ensuring office space is clean and organized
- Work in tandem with administrative teams in our corporate office in Omaha, Nebraska
- Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience / Skills
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative support preferred
Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle assignments from multiple sources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must possess high personal standards of performance and integrity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a requirement
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills
- Must maintain dependable, reliable, and predictable attendance.
