Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor
Classification Minimum Requirements:At the time of application, candidates must:
Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Have completed either an ACGME-accredited Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship or an ACGME-accredited IR/DR Residency.
Possess a current Florida medical license or have an active application in progress.
Candidates must also obtain their IR/DR certification within one year of their start date.
Required Skills and Experience:
Applicants must demonstrate experience and competency in the following procedures: Y-90 (glass), DEB-TACE, UAE, percutaneous ablations, TIPS and other portal interventions, pulmonary/bronchial angiography and embolization, PTHD and other biliary interventions, percutaneous nephrostomies, fistulagrams and declots, vertebral augmentation, spine and pain interventions, sclerotherapy, trauma interventions, and arterial/venous/portal/pulmonary thrombolysis, in addition to standard interventional procedures.
An interest in emerging techniques and contributing to the introduction of new procedures into the group practice is strongly encouraged.
Job Description:The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist for a non-tenure clinical track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, contribute to the department’s research initiatives, and participate in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students. While an interest in research is preferred, it is not required.
