The Data team you would join is composed of 6 key profiles: 3 data scientists, 2 product analysts, 1 analytics engineer, managed by a Head of Data. Also, the extended Data community at iAdvize is composed of the above + 1 Revenue Ops analyst, 2 Customer success analysts, 2 Machine learning engineers.</p><p>As Senior Data Engineer you will ensure the building and evolution of the iAdvize data stack. Your role will consist of a wide spectrum of responsibilities, from monitoring the data infrastructure to identifying and solving the new incoming data business challenges.</p><p>You will also work on longer term projects such as the re-architecture of the data bridge between product data and internal data warehouse.</p><p>Thus, collaboration with other engineers is key, as you will have to expand and improve the usage of data across teams and projects. You’ll work with other Data Engineers, Data Scientists,ML Engineers and Data Analysts.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the technical vision of data engineering and architecture at iAdvize</li><li>Design, build, scale, and evolve our data platform, services and tooling</li><li>Provide guidance, and contribute with engineering teams to find the right balance between efficiency and data quality</li><li>Help Data Analysts, Data Scientists / ML Engineers / Developers on data platform usage</li><li>Mentoring on the data engineering part</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>The candidate will have at least 1st significant experience in building and maintaining an internal data warehouse and its related components sustaining company wide Business Intelligence reporting systems.</p><p><strong>Must have</strong></p><ul><li>Significant experience with production data pipelines involving intensive Extract Transform Load (ETL) jobs and self service dashboarding (BI) tools.</li><li>Knowledge of data system architecture (data platform, data intensive application)</li><li>Knowledge of at least one big Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, …)</li><li>Programming skills in Python or similar programming language. Mastery of Linux.</li><li>Mastering business constraints and their implications with data modelisation and aggregations.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with systems deployed at iAdvize: Google Big Query, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Amazon Athena, Tableau/Tableau server and PostGreSQL</li><li>Knowledge on Docker and micro-services</li><li>Statistical knowledge and/or Machine Learning experience</li></ul><p><strong>Soft skills</strong></p><ul><li>Good communication skills, oral and written english is mandatory</li><li>Assertiveness and pedagogy: you are able to define, carry and deliver a vision whilst interacting with various technical (and sometimes less technical) profiles</li><li>Make decisions based on business needs with a good tradeoff between execution and quality</li><li>Technical watch → you ensure a regular technical watch in your area and use it to guide iAdvize through the future of its data internal infrastructure</li><li>You are a strong team player who is proactive in collaborating with other data team members and software engineers</li></ul><h3>Informations supplémentaires</h3><ul><li>Starting date: Asap</li><li>Contract: CDI</li><li>Location: Nantes, France</li><li>Remote : Open with a number of days per month to be planned in Nantes</li><li>Compensation: Depending on your profile</li></ul><p><strong>An idea of the benefits of working at
