Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

• 3+ years Billing or similar level of accounting education & experience.
• Experience in manual Billing along with Sales Tax reporting
• 3+ years Collections experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and general accounting systems.
• Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well with others and able to follow instructions

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Bill customer for controller(s), scheduled to ship, while simultaneously generating a packing slip for shipping.
• Maintain accounting packets. Packets should contain workorder details, shipping details, and customer’s acknowledgement to pay.
• Actively monitor accounts receivable aging balances, identify delinquent accounts, and follow up with customer including- contacting customers by phone and/or email, correcting and resubmitting invoices if necessary
• Work actively with customers and other departments to provide invoices and statements on accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with customers while maintaining accurate customer account records
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Processes incoming credit card payments
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
