Mission

You will be working with many colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds from Retail and Risk Management in order to ensure a high level of quality and professional performance for sales force.

Your day to day

• Manage and supervise the activities carried out by Quality and Risk Control team in order to meet the standard requirements, but also to increase the level of knowledge and skills for the team members.
• Coordinate and supervise the investigation process performed by the team members in terms of quality, quantity and timeliness. Bring solid arguments and present the case and the measures proposed to the management.
• Subject matter expert from Retail Banking for risk management area.
• Work closely with risk functions to provide an integrated approach to risk management, to identify the implications and actions needed in the improvement process.
• Identify and analyse fraud patterns/ incorrect sales practices, threats and vulnerabilities in bank processes and implement new controls for maintaining activity from Sales Network and CCS within the risk appetite of the Bank.
• Identify and propose technical solutions to limit financial and non-financial risks in relation to the activity of the Sales Network and CCS Department.
• Involved in the risk assessment process as a subject matter expert for Retail Sales.
• Provide solid support to the team in order to rank the identified errors, document them and propose appropriate measures taking into account the business model and the risk appetite of the bank.
• Responsible for taking over the investigation reports drawn up by Fraud Investigation and documenting cases in order to propose corrective measures in accordance with the risks associated with and vulnerabilities identified and validated with Legal Department.
• Responsible for preventive actions for the Sales Network including presentations in Sales Conferences, field visits in the Offices, workshops, etc).

What you bring to the team

• University degree – preferably in Economics.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational risk management or similar positions.
• Knowledge of financial and non-financial risk management for banking.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills both in Romanian and English
