Position Overview:

Directs the operations of the service line/designated units in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Ensures the provision of quality patient care through compliance with Federal and State regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies and efficient management of clinical and financial resources. Applies management and clinical expertise, education, research and consultation to optimize operational outcomes. Represents designated units in forums, fostering a collaborative approach and focusing on effective, efficient service to patients, physicians and between staff.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Healthcare or related field


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

12 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of Title 22, CMS, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements and HCAHPS surveys, including guidelines, in areas of care provided in the medical center.

Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Demonstrates consistent professional relationships with the ability to work effectively with the medical staff, inter-departmentally and intra-departmentally.

Knowledge of research tools and applications used to support and develop patient experience strategies and initiatives

Demonstrates credible leadership presence, the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness, and authority, and the ability to motivate and engage others.

Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.

Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources.

Pay Range is $58.36 to $87.54 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. ​
