You will have an opportunity to shape the infrastructure of one of the fast-growing health-tech companies that will change the future of healthcare. We are looking for passionate SREs who will closely partner with our product & engineering organizations to help build and improve the resiliency, availability, and maintainability of our services.

What You'll Do 

• Support day to day operations of our service in GCP Cloud 
• Define, improve, and engage in adapting architectural application improvements 
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and other Business units on infrastructure projects 
• Work with Engineering and QA/Testing in executing software deployments 

What We're Looking For 

• Experience building and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems. Experience with IAC tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt is a plus 
• In-depth knowledge and experience managing applications on GCP, AWS 
• Good understanding of Linux operating system internals, such as network and storage subsystems 
• Knowledge and expertise in Networking Technologies and Cloud Security  

• Experience with application monitoring tools (New Relic, Pingdom, Splunk, etc) in supporting and troubleshooting production systems 
• Solid understanding of Database concepts and GCP Cloud SQL operations. Experience with Postgres/Snowflake Administration is a plus  
• Experience with service deployment and code management utilizing Github actions. 
• Ability to code and script. Specifically, Shell and Python. Experience with Go and Javascript is a plus 

 

Total Rewards 

As a remote position, the salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity. 

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.

You must be authorized to work in the United States. Depending on the position we may have a preference to a specific location, but are generally open to remote work anywhere in the US.
