Job Description

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Claims Representative – Bodily Injury to join our growing Claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop technical expertise in handling Auto Bodily Injury claims across personal and commercial lines. You will receive structured mentorship and hands-on experience managing claims from initial report to resolution.

 

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in insurance claims, with opportunities to grow into more complex case handling and litigation support roles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the investigation of motor vehicle accidents to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Conduct recorded statements with insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
  • Support claim resolution activities under the supervision of senior adjusters.
  • Analyze policy coverage and assist in determining applicable benefits.
  • Maintain accurate file documentation and assist with timely reserve updates.
  • Communicate professionally with policyholders, claimants, agents, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior claims staff and legal counsel in managing claims, including potential litigation support.
  • Participate in training programs and claim reviews to build technical skills.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in claims, insurance, or related field preferred.
  • Interest in pursuing insurance designations such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional claims environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with claims management systems a plus.
