Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring maximum availability, utilization, and productivity of mining equipment by providing technical assistance/acquisition of parts and materials by coordinating various contractor activities

Job Description

Key Accountabilities  

• Provide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability, utilization, and availability to support mine operations.

• Utilize available resources to maintain accurate, detailed, and acceptable records of equipment and components to ensure timely and effective maintenance.

• Order materials and equipment as required under normal and/or emergency conditions to meet the needs of a mining site.

• Coordinate the shipping, repair and return of mine equipment and parts to meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.

• Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Interface with maintenance staff, mine site operations groups, other TXU personnel, and vendors/contractors to ensure consistent, practical, and effective maintenance support.

• Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

•High School education or GED equivalent

•1-3 years of power or industrial plant mechanical maintenance experience
