Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a RESTful API layer in Java/Python
  • Design, modify, and develop software applications, APIs, and system integrations with a strong understanding of best practices for modern web apps, APIs, and microservices
  • Build user interfaces from scratch in React/Angular
  • Containerize and deploy the API layer onto Google Cloud using GKE
  • Collaborate in agile teams, working with continuous integration and delivery
  • Develop code to build and enhance applications/services and promote code-reviews, code scanning, and other standard development practices to deliver high-quality artifacts to production


Required

  • 3+ years of experience with Flask, FastAPI, or similar API frameworks or Java frameworks like SpringBoot

  • 3+ years of experience with Python and/or Java

  • 3+ years of experience with build automation technologies (Jenkins preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience with React and/or Angular, JQuery, HTML5/CSS and JavaScript

  • 3+ years of software development in enterprise/web/cloud applications

  • 2+ Experience with relational/NoSQL databases. Knowledge to GCP cloud stores(Spanner , BigTable) is a plus.

Preferred

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferably, but alternatively Azure or AWS.

  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

  • Exposure to data engineering, analytics engineering, or machine learning.

  • 1+ years of exposure to non-relational datastores like BigQuery.

  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of UI design tools such as Figma would be helpful.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
