Team Introduction
The Global e-commerce Data Science team aims to maximize the efficiency of e-commerce transactions, lead product decision-making iterations, and achieve sustainable growth in revenue with data and scientific methods, through quantitative techniques such as mathematical statistics and machine learning. The User Growth Data Science Team fuels TikTok Shops user growth by harnessing data science to optimize ROI and strategize growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with user growth products and operations teams to translate business needs into data problems, supporting and guiding business development
- Support A/B experiments for user growth strategies and refine methodologies
- Conduct independent analyses to provide effective recommendations for strategy iteration

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate with user growth products and operations teams to translate business needs into data problems
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and manipulation tasks
- Proven experience in modeling causal inference and conducting AB experiments for user growth strategies, including designing experiments, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive user engagement and growth
- Capability to conduct independent analyses and provide recommendations for strategy iteration

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with user growth products and operations teams to translate business needs into data problems, supporting and guiding business development
- Proven ability to support A/B experiments for user growth strategies and refine methodologies
- Demonstrated experience conducting independent analyses to provide effective recommendations for strategy iteration

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128250 - $190000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
