Location: Travel-based position | Home base flexible within the U.S.
Industry: Industrial Automation / Corrugated Machinery
Schedule: Full-time | Travel Required (75%+)

The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Field Service Technician to support our customers by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our high-tech corrugated machinery. You’ll be a key part of our team—solving problems onsite, representing our commitment to excellence, and keeping production lines running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform electrical installations, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on BHS Corrugated equipment at customer sites

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic

• Support commissioning and startup of new machinery

• Work closely with mechanical technicians and engineers on collaborative service tasks

• Provide technical support and training to customer maintenance staff

• Create detailed service reports and document issues/resolutions

• Travel domestically (and occasionally internationally)

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical service, industrial automation, or a similar field

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial controls, and schematics

• PLC experience (Siemens preferred); VFDs, sensors, and motors a plus

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one)
• Electrical Engineering Degree (BSEET) is a huge plus
