Our Marketing Data Science team is at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge AI technologies to optimize marketing efforts and automation processions. We are expanding our team and are looking for a skilled, highly resourceful Data Scientist to join our team and help make a significant impact. 

As a Data Scientist on the Marketing Data Science team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our marketing strategies through data-driven insights and analytics. You will apply your expertise in machine learning to enhance marketing efforts, drive automation and develop AI-centric solutions. 

The role would ideally suit anyone with 2 or more years experience as a data scientist, ML engineer, data engineer or statistical software developer. Strong coding skills in Python and SQL would be a benefit, to help with data analysis, statistical modeling and automation. Some prior software development experience with Java and Large Language Models (LLMs) would be a plus. 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights for marketing teams and leadership. 
• Be comfortable querying large volumes of data to extract, transform and prepare data for analysis. 
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and understandable reports and presentations. 
• Develop, test and maintain ML models to optimize lead targeting and drive marketing campaigns. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or a related field. 
• 2+ years of experience in a data science, ML engineer, data engineer or software developer role, preferably within a marketing or tech start-up environment. 
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation and summarization. 
• Strong coding skills, ideally in Python, with a familiarity in Java being a plus. 
• Prior experience working with generative AI chatbots or Large Language Models being highly desirable. 

Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
