Description
Isaiah House is a Christ-centered, state-licensed and nationally accredited substance
abuse treatment center that is committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals
recovering from substance use disorders. The Director of Medical Operations plays a
critical role in overseeing the medical operations that support our clients' recovery
journey. This position provides leadership to the medical team, ensuring the delivery of
high-quality, compliant, and effective healthcare services. In this position you will play a
pivotal role in leading and optimizing medical operations across all facilities.
The ideal candidate brings a strong leadership background in healthcare operations and a
commitment to advancing evidence-based practices in addiction recovery.
Requirements
• Provide strategic oversight of medical staff and healthcare operations across all
facilities.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop medical protocols and general
medical practices within the facilities.
• Serve as a primary resource for medical-related issues, ensuring compliance with
state and national accreditation standards.
• Identify and implement innovative, cost-effective approaches to client care that
enhance recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with programs/clinical departments and in harmony with pharmacy,
medical and dental providers to endure quality of care to clients.
• Provide oversight for required screenings of staff and clients.
• Ensure all healthcare staff are properly trained, including CPR certifications and
continuing education.
• Maintain relationships with insurance payors and the ability to engage in open
dialogue as needed.
• Report sentinel events to CARF and ensure compliance with all regulatory
requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in addiction medicine.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while managing multiple
responsibilities.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking as required.
• Capacity to engage with individuals in various stages of addiction recovery.
