The Hotel Account Director is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key hotel partners, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This individual contributor role focuses on high-level account strategy, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.

Summary of the role

Amadeus Hospitality’s award-winning Customer Support team offers first line support to its global customer base in the hospitality industry. The priority of the Customer Support team is to help every customer be more successful in using our products.

The role of the Customer Support Representative is to supply advanced level technical help to customers who are experiencing technical issues thus driving further adoption of our products/solutions. They are subject matter experts on our industry-leading hospitality solutions. They must answer phone calls, emails, and chats to resolve inquiries and issues promptly.                                                

In  this role you’ll:

  • Develop and execute account management strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing hotel accounts.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value hotel partners.

  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders to ensure retention and satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis with clients.

  • Analyze account performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize revenue.

  • Negotiate contracts and renewals with hotel partners.

  • Work closely with product, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and processes.

  • Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Tasks:

About  the ideal candidate:

  • Education: University master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or other related field / equivalent experience

  • Relevant Work Experience: 

    6+ years’ experience in Commercial roles, Account Management, portfolio, product and/or project management within a multinational environment

    Experience in Hotel Corporate Sales, Corporate Distribution and/or Commercial Strategy and Revenue Management

    Active in Industry: e.g. active member of the GBTA, HEDNA, HSMAI or similar associations

  • Solid understanding of travel industry in general and specifically of the hotel corporate sales, distribution business model, as well as TMC & Consortia

  • Strong customer centric, problem solving, time management and team collaborative skills are essential.

  • Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to work in both a team environment and independently

  • Basic understanding of Amadeus’ role in the travel industry and specifically in the hotel distribution space

  • Understands principles of the industry in which we operate

  • Skills: 

    Computing: Good computer Knowledge as well as major analytical tools, understanding of different processing technology

    Languages: English Native, additional languages would be an asset (Spanish and/or French)

    Strong business acumen. Connect strategic goals, with business KPIs and technology enablers.

    Customer centric focus. Aware of industry trends and customer needs

    Strong influencing, decision making capabilities and prioritization. Leadership
