We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. (Note: For EpiSci job openings, fully remote work will be considered by exception.)
About the role
We’re looking for a full-stack Software Engineer to join our Application Engineering team and elevate the user experience across our public-facing website, blog, and other customer facing portals. This is a high-impact and highly visible role, focused on elevating the end-to-end user experience across our digital products. You’ll play a key part in shaping how users interact with and perceive our platform, ensuring our communication, design, and functionality align to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and engaging experience..
In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners in Engineering and Design to build fast, responsive, and elegant web experiences. A key responsibility will be revamping our customer portal and technical manual, ensuring it’s intuitive, scalable, and supports both self-service and high-touch user journeys.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build intuitive, user-friendly customer portals and deliver new features that enhance functionality and engagement
- Take Figma design files into responsive websites across browsers and devices
- Test, maintain, and improve websites; troubleshoot technical issues related to delivering experiences
- Implement custom code in other digital properties and enable user engagement workflows (e.g. improve product documentation search functionality)
- Work across the full stack: frontend, backend, data management, and cloud & edge infrastructure
- Possess a fundamental grasp of web user experience goals for site visitors
- Enable analytics and measurement across site experiences
- Enable SEO best practices
- Develop and maintain our internal content distribution platform
We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, etc)
- 2+ years of web development experience
- Full stack coding review skills, from shell scripting to javascript to Python and C/C++
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills with experience building responsive sites across a variety of browsers and devices
- Mastery of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and SEO
- Strong QA mindset; attention to detail and an appreciation for design and UX
Nice to have:
- Experience working on a variety of areas ranging from systems programming, backend infrastructure, to full stack applications.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control software
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or other industry-leading frameworks
- Familiarity with web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and SEO

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability
