Overview
The Strategic People & Culture Partner will work in partnership with the Chief Operating Offcer and Chief Financial Officer, key stakeholders and HR Leads to shape, develop and deliver HR strategies in line with the needs and priorities of FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB). They will operate as Strategic HR partner to the COO and CFO leadership team providing high level people management, coaching and development support. This is an exciting role that will have an impact on the overall business in not only supporting key stakeholders and central functions, but strengthening and cultivating the FDB culture to build a competitive organization and prepare FDB for the future.

Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational alignment with the Business and HR strategic goals of FDB.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to the COO/CFO and leadership team on employment matters, influencing management and leadership around the people agenda to maximise performance.
- Coach, support and assist Site HR Leads to enhance employee engagement and motivation on sites to help cultivate the overall company culture.
- Provide management information, reports and analysis on the employee experience to guide future developments, spot trends and identify opportunities and threats.
- Lead on FDB HR initiatives ensuring success within the organization.
- Ensuring COO/CFO have an engaged, motivated and competent workforce aligned to the mid-term plan.
- Ensure a consistent approach to people management within FDB, supporting a strong performance management culture.
- Drive continuous improvement projects, ensuring the long term and sustainable success of the business and potential recovery measures are sustainable. Support site HR leads to enact recovery actions providing direction and support.
- Lead projects at the discretion of the FDB Chief People Officer.
- Work closely with the business on change management projects to guarantee successful implementation, address any potential resistance and communicate change.
- Maintain relationships with FUJIFILM Holdings companies.
- Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures and legislation.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Background and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required with at least 15 years’ HR experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience of working at a Senior level
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills is required together with proven leadership capabilities and
- Advanced knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
- Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in developing and supporting senior leaders through change.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
- An ability to influence and senior leaders to empower.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
Although this may be a hybrid posting, the incumbent must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from one of the FDB US locations (Holly Springs NC, College Station TX, Thousand Oaks CA). The US salary range for this position is $200,000 to $260,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
