Job Description:

Airbus is looking for a Structures Rework Tech to join our team based in Mobile, Al.

Perform and assure structural assemblies of metallic and/or composite components (including hybrid stacks) following drawing requirements and applicable standards.

Your working environment:

  • Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your challenges:

  • Perform Self Inspections in line with Qualification profile and Work Order requirements

  • Perform Delegated Inspections in line with Qualification profile, inspection planning and Work Order requirements

  • Work in an autonomous and self-directed team to secure milestones for Mobile FAL and Flight Line

  • Knowledge of specific to the workplace Health and Safety standards, computer applications used in the shopfloor and production processes. Basic knowledge of drawing interpretation and user documentation. A/C, structures and different type of materials awareness.

Your boarding pass:

  • Required: High School Diploma/ GED

  • Completed vocational training (Mechanics/System/Avionics/Electrical)

  • 2 + years of experience in related field

  • Required: 2 years minimum experience in Aircraft systems and electrical rework or equivalent experience required
