What You'll Do

As a Senior Event Manager at BambooHR, you will be responsible for all aspects of organizing, managing, strategizing and overseeing three key BambooHR hosted events (virtual and in person), our annual HR Virtual Summit, Customer Day, and Sales Kickoff. You’ll be responsible for conception and execution from start to finish, partnering across the organization to coordinate logistics, content strategy and speaker selection, promotion, partner sponsorships, and post-event analysis and content strategy. You’ll work within our broader events team to create memorable experiences that reinforce our brand’s presence and recognition.

You will:

• Conceptualize, plan and execute virtual event strategies aligned with marketing, sales, and business objectives.
• Influence across multiple marketing groups and executives in order to align on event strategy. 
• Identify target audiences, themes, and content strategies for virtual events to enhance attendee engagement. 
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of virtual events, including planning, logistics, execution, and post-event analysis.
• Implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote virtual events across multiple channels in partnership with the broader marketing team. 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content, email campaigns, and social media strategies to drive event attendance.
• Collaborate with the partnership team to bring in partner sponsors for each event. 
• Manage the virtual event platform and technologies to deliver high-quality and interactive experiences.
• Develop strategies to enhance audience engagement, interactivity, and networking opportunities during virtual events. 
• Track and analyze key performance metrics and data from virtual events to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare post-event reports and insights, providing actionable recommendations for optimizing future events.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with external partners, vendors and speakers involved in virtual event execution.
• Provide mentorship and leadership for junior-level events team members.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• You have 4-7 years of proven experience in event management in the B2B space
• You have at least 1 year of virtual event management experience
• Time allocation and thoughtful budget analysis are second nature to you
• You're a project management wiz and are highly organized and detailed oriented, able to manage multiple events and campaigns
• You’re incredibly driven and are able to manage deadlines under pressing workloads
• You have the ability to problem solve and devise solutions based on limited information and adapt existing approaches to resolve issues. 
• Your innovation is unparalleled and you consistently stay up to date on the latest event trends
• You have outstanding communication skills (verbally and through writing) and are able to influence alignment across teams.
• You must be able to unload/unpack/move boxes with event swag and other materials.
• **You're located in Utah and able to come into our Lindon, UT office regularly.**
