We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist in our Denver, CO headquarters.
iDE’s Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks within the human resources department. General tasks can include but are not limited to recruiting candidates for open positions, interviewing potential new hires, following up on resume information and references, and submitting hiring recommendations to department heads and executives. iDE’s HR Generalist is responsible for conducting new employee orientation sessions for new hires and for recent transfers from within iDE. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and administering employee benefits (under the direction of the Senior Director, Human Resources), including 403B, disability coverage, life and health insurance, and parental leave. Under the direction of the Senior Director, Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible for processing all insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and ensures all paperwork is completed in advance of payroll processing
To be successful in this role, you should be a great communicator with high emotional intelligence, strong knowledge about employee benefits and the various laws and regulations that apply to them, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizing skills. You must have a calling to serve others.
Finally, as the HR Generalist, you will frequently have access to sensitive employee information, such as payroll or compensation data, personnel files, performance reviews, background checks, and disciplinary reports, and are expected to maintain confidentiality at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Ongoing support and talent management of iDE employees including, but not limited to:
- Support the hiring manager in the recruitment of new staff (HQ, UK, & CDs) inclusive of full cycle recruitment support.
- Conduct reference checks as requested by hiring manager
- Onboard new employees
- Support and coordinate the organization-wide Performance Management strategy.
- Ensure that the various mechanisms for providing staff with clarity of expectations are implemented for all staff (e.g. job descriptions, performance contracts, code of conduct (signed)
- Support the annual performance review process for HQ and CDs and collaborate with management to support continuous improvement of performance and engagement of staff.
- Provide off-boarding support to ensure thoughtful transitions of colleagues transitioning from iDE inclusive of cross-departmental coordination, and exit interviews as requested.
- Oversee and administer employee benefits
- Support planning for and lead annual benefits open enrollment process.
- Informing employees of any changes to their benefits
- Act as the first point of contact on benefits for employees at all levels (HQ/UK/ Country Directors, not local staff) and respond to staff benefits queries
- Check all employee-submitted forms for errors
- Lead on the implementation of compensation changes and payroll processing
- Maintain human resources records
- New hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit/annual increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
