About the role

Position Title: Education: Program Leader TA

We are seeking committed and passionate After School Program Instructors to assist in leading academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our San Francisco After School Programs. As a Program Instructor T.A. you will support a class of up to 20 youth, along with the lead teacher. Stepping stone into career in education, to a credentialed teacher.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday- 1:30-6pm. Wednesdays: 12:30-6pm

Minimum Qualifications

  • No experience required
  • Available Monday through Friday 20 -24 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
  • Ability to reliably commute to San Francisco, Cow Hollow Area
  • Commitment to social justice and leadership
  • Passionate about learning and youth development: K-12
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred: Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain a safe and emotionally supportive environment
  • Execute lesson plans that support school day learning
  • Collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven curriculum)
  • Model BACR Best Practices

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skillset, and geographic location.
