About the role

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Deliver product to all food and beverage outlets and to ensure correct quality product has been received. You will report to the Inventory Supervisor or Executive Chef.

 

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will organize, clean, label and maintain kitchen storage areas to include shelves, floor, walls, coolers, and freezers.
  2. Stock received orders to appropriate storage areas to include unpacking, counting, recording, and stocking.
  3. Perform audits on incoming inventory to ensure items on invoice match items delivered.
  4. Stock product using the First In, First Out model to ensure shorter dated product is used first and product received is dated and labeled according to Choctaw Nation food safety guidelines.
  5. Examine assigned areas to guarantee an organized, clean, and safe environment to maintain compliance requirements for cleanliness, and proper storage of all chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  6. Inform Executive Chef of any outdated, damaged, or inferior product received.
  7. Review orders for completeness and accuracy; receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
  8. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

     

Job Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of the organization products and services
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Basic knowledge of food and safety practices.
  • You will perform assigned tasks, including having the physical mobility to lift, load, transport, and unload product
  • Two (2) years previous inventory, purchasing, stock, and kitchen experience
