General Ledger - Global Process Expert (SSC)

The goal of the GSSO Process Management Team is to continuously improve, standardize, harmonize, and automate the processes across the global shared services organization following the latest technologies and best practices. GSSO Process Expert (GPE) for General Ledger (GL) is a full-time global expert role within the Global Shared Services Organization (GSSO), with solid line reporting to the GL GPM (GSSO Process Manager).

Tasks:

• Working with the GPM GL to steer the processes pertaining to the Global General Ledger operations within GSSO with an objective to facilitate the worldwide standardization, documentation and automation of those processes;
• Close collaboration with the regional GL teams in China, India, Poland, USA, Mexico and Brazil;
• Ownership over the Global Chart of Accounts set up and the Master Data;
• Support for the rollout of the new S4 Hana ERP system in the GL area. Review and monitoring of GL related process changes as new countries are included;
• Overseeing the creation, development, and implementation of automation in the GL area, including working with the digital technologies incl. RPA, online analytics, process automation
• Support for rollouts of digital tools, such as Smart Close, Shared Services Framework;
• Point of contact, process support and coordinator for occasional topics/projects arising in the other accounting domains, e.g. O2C, P2P, A2R, T&E
• Work globally with all levels of management across the various divisions and functions.

 

Profile:

• 2 years’ experience working with accounting processes in SAP;
• Creative, digital mindset and strong will to improve and automate;
• Must be a self-starter. Strong analytical skills and excellent organization and planning skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Languages: Fluent in English written and oral

 

Nice to have (considered as an additional asset):

• Previous Project Management experience dealing with significant change management;
• Qualification in Accounting and/or Project Management from an accredited institution or university;
• Experience with Senior Management communications and interactions
