General Summary

As a Marketing Technologist, your role is to bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technology implementation. You will be responsible for leveraging marketing tools, platforms, and technologies to optimize marketing efforts, improve campaign performance, and enhance the customer experience. This is a broad role that will test your technical skills. Your marketing technology expertise will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and achieving marketing objectives.

You will sit directly with the Data Analytics team, collaborate closely with the Acquisition, Lifecycle, and Product Marketing and Product teams, and report to the Sr. Manager, Data Analytics & Insights.

Core Functions

  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to develop and execute marketing technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end Marketing systems and processes that unlock the execution of the marketing strategies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to generate timely and actionable insights.
  • Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize data management tools and techniques to segment audiences, track campaign performance, and measure marketing ROI.
  • Collaborate with the broader data analytics team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging marketing technologies, tools, and trends to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation platforms like CRM systems, email marketing tools, and marketing analytics platforms. Develop automated workflows, lead nurturing programs, and personalized customer journeys to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Oversee website management and optimization activities, including content updates, SEO, and user experience enhancements. Coordinate with web developers and designers to implement effective landing pages, forms, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Train marketing teams on the effective use of marketing technologies and platforms. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure optimal utilization of marketing tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies, industry trends, and best practices and provide thought leadership on applying the tools and methods practically.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience as a Marketing Technologist, Marketing Operations Manager, Marketing Data Analyst, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience in web analytics using the Google Analytics suite, including GA4, Tag Manager, BigQuery, and other marketing analytic tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, email marketing tools, web analytics tools, and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with web technologie
