Sales, Merchandising and Events Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support Peter Millar Sales Executive(s) in any and all capacities required to support and grow the business in the Florida and Sea Island region
• Work closely with territory Sales Executive(s) on:
  • Sell-in
  • Merchandising
  • Count and Fill programs
  • Event Planning and Execution
  • Event Staffing
  • Event Service and support
• Frequent account visits to set PM product and visually merchandise displays
• Travel to National Marquis Events at least 5 times per year to support territory and company initiatives
• Assist Sales Executive with sample preparation, sales materials and more biannually for each season launch
• Promote the brand daily by work closely with golf shop staffs on signage, sales materials, etc.
• Provide proactive event ideas, concepts and strategies for customers
• Set schedule for extensive travel, organize efficient use of time, monitor expenses and provide timely reports as required
• Regional Markets (Set up, appointments, tear down)
• Special Events (set up, service, tear down)
• Order Entry (entry, accuracy, exceptions)

COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Clear communicator
• Self-starter, highly motivated

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 2 years selling/providing sales support
• Outstanding experience with display of visual merchandising skills
• Golf/Specialty Retail experience strongly preferred
