Business Analytics Senior Advisor - Forsyth Health - Remote

Role and Responsibilities

The Business Analytics Senior Advisor will assist with managing the data onboarding process, data validation, data model and client deliveries. The Senior Advisor will provide guidance based on experience and knowledge and will play a key role in decision making, problem solving and strategic planning.

This individual will need to work collaboratively with key technical and non-technical partners that include the Forsyth Product team – data exploration, develop business requirements, our Internal Partners - managing the prioritization, timelines, data design, code review and Expert Determination process, and External Clients – supporting the data delivery process.

• Assist with ensuring data operational goals are being met. Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks. Research and improve data operational strategies.
• Understand business problems brought by stakeholders and how best to apply data analytics and problem-solving skills to develop appropriate solutions.
• Perform varied analytics with complex data to support data operations including data mapping, data models and methodologies.
• Build the confidence and support of stakeholders, clients and peers to manage diverse and frequently urgent competing requests and projects with tight deadlines in a complex, demanding environment.
• Effectively document and maintain documents including data mapping, methodologies, data dictionaries, sops, client delivery project trackers, etc.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of healthcare experience in analytics, solving complex business problems using data tools, relational databases, and analytical processes. 
• Experience working with Medical and/or Pharmacy claims data is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment; operates well with ambiguity.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others, establish working relationships, and communicate effectively within a large corporate matrix environment.
• Experience with SQL or Python, Alteryx and Databricks. 
• Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions and leverage technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required; individual must have experience interacting with senior leadership.
