Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician III contribute to our operations team in LaVergne, TN. The Maintenance Tech III acts as a “hands on” team lead and will be responsible for coordinating a crew of Maintenance associates. This individual will train and provide work guidance while performing highly complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. This person will ensure the equipment in the distribution facility is maintained properly by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards.

Schedule:
- C shift is Sun-Tues 7pm-7am + every other Wednesday 7pm-7am
What You'll Need:
- Technical Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 5+ years in a facility maintenance position, with 2+ years in electrical repair.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- 2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced understanding of PLC.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluates training needs for Maintenance associates.
- Prioritize and schedule equipment repairs and Preventative Maintenance, in collaboration with the management team.
- Assist in determining needs for equipment, parts and supplies.
- Evaluate equipment failures and provide complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
- Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
- Partner with leadership to drive successful implementation of team objectives.
- Effectively communicate technical/automation needs and concerns to internal and external customers, to include Engineering.
- Collaborate with Engineering and vendors to ensure target achievements in technical/maintenance support.
Essential Physical Demands:
- High paced Manufacturing & Distribution center environment
- Ability to work 8–12-hour shifts
- Ability to stand and/or walk continuously during the assigned shift.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100lbs during the assigned shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 100lbs occasionally.
- Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
- Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
- Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.

- Ability to see in color
- Ability to see objects in close proximity as well as at a distance
- Peripheral vision
- Willingness and ability to be equipment certified and able to meet physical requirements of equipment operator
- Willingness and ability to work to heights of 30 feet
- Ability to adjust sight focus
