Overview
This position is within the Imaging Division (ID) and provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met and maintained on all products, raw materials, and marketing/sales/trade show samples. Test and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data. The Quality Assurance Tech will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor in Greenwood, SC.
FUJIFILM North America Corporation consists of five divisions including Imaging, Electronic Imaging, Graphic Systems, Optical Devices, and Industrial Products and Corporate New Business Development. These companies market a broad range of consumer and commercial products in North America and Latin America. The Imaging Division (ID) provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The Electronic Imaging Division (EID) markets consumer digital cameras; the Graphic Systems Division (GSD) supplies products and services to the graphic printing industry; the Optical Devices Division (OD) provides optical lenses for broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television and binoculars. The Industrial Products Division (IPD) supplies cutting edge digital imaging and conventional film, chemistry, and equipment to the NDT industry.
FNAC-ID Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) now makes more than 450 personalized items (such as coffee mugs, posters, framed prints, canvas wall décor and more). PPPG provides a turnkey, back-end service of producing these items for a variety of retail and online customers.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and/or perform all daily test controls to ensure equipment is production ready and meets company quality standards.
- Takes part in non-conformance investigations, documentation, and internal communication. Ensure proper handling of all nonconforming products. Assists in disposition of material with internal personnel and purchasing.
- Maintain the procedures of inspection, product sampling, and product acceptance.
- Assists in setup and maintaining color reproduction/standards for all printing systems including Fujifilm system applications and color RIPs.
- Monitor quality control specific preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in the production process, and tests products for control compliance.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Releases results to production departments.
- Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.
Required Skills/Education
- Degree- AS or BS Degree or comparable experience and education.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Access skills and experience.
- Photoshop and image editing software skills.
- Wasatch and Onyx RIP skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- 0-2 years quality assurance technician experience.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate, clear, and concise One-Point Lessons.
- Strong communication skills- written and verbal required.
