PayPal, Inc. seeks Senior Product Manager 1 – Technical in Austin, TX

Job Duties: Utilize RPA, Microsoft, and proprietary PayPal tools to develop and implement software for Legal eDiscovery that supports all phases of legal eDiscovery, including but not limited to the identification, placement and sending of legal holds; retention of digital and physical assets; obtaining data from various data sources to support required evidence requests from litigation and regulatory agencies; processing the evidence gathered and production of documents for use in litigation cases; and regulatory requests and investigations. Participate in the development strategy and roadmap with cross-vertical product areas. Own and manage a suite of eDiscovery technologies including processes and integrations with enterprise technologies. Write product requirement documents, user stories and prioritize stories in sprints. Analyze, manage, iterate, and track the continued success of software features in production. Closely partner with the eDiscovery business team to manage the technology product roadmap and delivery of solutions through the ETX Legal engineering team and external vendors.  Identify and perform gap analysis as well as analyze various datasets to ensure proper retention, adherence to defined policies, and identification of opportunities to ensure PayPal is compliant with emerging legal requirements and cases. Develop and track high level KPI’s and goals and manage vendor contract negotiations and relationships. Collaborate with partners (Legal eDiscovery, compliance, investigations, IT, etc.) to set strategy consistent with PayPal corporate priorities and communicate and negotiate with all stakeholders as appropriate to execute strategy and development plans. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience with large scale technical business analysis and project management.
