Job Details:

The Medical Billing Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues. This position also provides support for Prior Authorizations (PA) for an assigned caseload and helps navigate the appeals process to access medications

• Compensation: $25/hr-$27/hr - Top pay will be offered to candidates with ophthalmology and buy and bill experience
• Location: 9400 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL, 32819 - enjoy our beautiful new and modern facility!
• Schedule Requirements: Post training schedules begin November 6th, openings are as follows based on availability: (8am-5pm EST, 9am-6pm EST, 10am-7pm EST, 11am-8pm EST).
• Start Date: The entire new team will start together on 10/2/23
• Training: Onsite 4-6 weeks, 9:30-5:30pm EST (paid lunch hour during training)
• Work from home: The opportunity to work from home will be made available after 120 days of post training based upon goals and quotas being met at the discretion of the manager

Requirements

• In-depth understanding and experience with Buy & Bill, Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage.
• 2 to 5 years of benefit investigation involving the analysis and interpretation of insurance coverage
• 3 to 5 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers in regard to health insurance plan requirements
• Excellent verbal communication skills and grammar
• Computer literacy/competence
• Salesforce system experience preferred
