Work Environment This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida. Our facility is designed to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere conducive to recovery. Operating from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, our clinic may require occasional flexibility to address varying patient needs and clinic operations. The center is equipped with modern treatment modalities and rehabilitation equipment, ensuring that our team can deliver cutting-edge care. Key Responsibilities Design and implement individualized therapeutic treatment plans for patients, aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to enhance their physical well-being, relieve pain, and promote recovery. Educate patients on effective body mechanics and personalized home exercise programs to support their rehabilitation journey. Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, adhering to prescribed protocols. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and overall functionality. Prepare treatment areas and ensure that therapy equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible during sessions. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes. Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, creating a positive rehabilitative experience throughout their treatment. Comply with ethical standards and professional guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and respect privacy rights. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse patient population encompasses individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related issues. As a Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, you will work closely with patients of all ages, focusing on their unique healing needs and personal goals for recovery. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on the latest rehabilitation practices and approaches. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient setting. Experience with various rehabilitation methods and modalities relevant to a diverse patient base.
