About the role
Provides leadership to the Core Integration Services Revenue Cycle Team who are responsible for providing support for Revenue Cycle applications which include but may not be limited to Patient Accounting, HIM, Charge Management, Finance and Patient Access. Assists with ongoing maintenance, including enhancements and upgrades to the Revenue Cycle Applications. This includes design, build and troubleshooting issues or problems. The Lead Revenue Cycle Analyst will coordinate work assignments for Revenue Cycle Analysts. This position participates in project plan development, system selection, and ROI analysis.
Department Specific Competencies
- Leads the members of the Revenue Cycle Team, responsible for coordinating daily activities and schedules. Participates in the recruitment and interviewing of candidates for the Revenue Cycle Team.
- Provides project implementation leadership, including project scope development, system design, database build, Testing, and transition to support.
- Works with Leadership on new project or enhancement requests to ensure feasibility and appropriate prioritization. Partners with Leadership to coordinate the assignment of requests to the Revenue Cycle Team.
- Tests system enhancements prior to deployment to production environment.
- Follows escalation process for impact issues.
- Responsible for coordinating daily activities and scheduled for the Revenue Cycle Team, HIM and Project Support Analysts as directed.
- Participates in the planning and execution of revenue cycle and related systems installations, upgrades and processes to continually improve revenue cycle management.
- Responsible for coordination of approval build, maintenance and database updates for various Cerner Revenue Cycle application tools.
- Exhibit leadership to guide the team in consistently delivering high-quality outcomes to end users and stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
- Coordinates and allocates workload to ensure deliverables align with customer expectations. Manages large and/or sensitive projects throughout their lifecycle. Collaborates with team members to assign tasks, offering oversight and guidance to junior staff.
