Phlebotomy Registration Specialist Supervisor

Position Purpose:

 In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of Outreach Collection Sites as designated by Manger of Pre-analytical process. The Supervisor will be responsible for staffing, medical staff relationships, patient satisfaction and operational and financial performance of the sites in their service area.
*Responsible for implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements associated with the collection, ordering and registration of patients presenting at their facilities.

*This position will require taking call on an every 4 week rotation with the other supervisors. Call starts at 7:00 pm - 7:00 am; Sunday-Friday and Friday evenings from 7 pm - 1am. This is to manage colleague call offs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licensure / Certification: Phlebotomy certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred, but not required.
• Experience: 5 years recent phlebotomy or registration experience preferred, supervisory experience preferred or Associate's Degree in lieu of experience.
• Effective Communication Skills
• Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.·
• Must be able to commute to other locations.
• Must be able to take on call duties
• Maintains CPR certification.·
