Labcorp 2026 Global Internship Program Exciting Internship Opportunity – Software Engineer Intern

Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. 

Internship 2026 Dates: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 

About the Program

As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through:

Internship Details 

  • Duration: 12 weeks, full-time
  • Dates of Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026
  • Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Labcorp Payer - Digital Products Team develops and maintains applications that serve insurance companies and managed care organizations across the United States. We provide valuable services and analytics by enabling payers to access and manage Labcorp data efficiently. Our team works with modern cloud technologies including AWS, Angular, Gen AI, and microservices architecture to deliver secure, scalable B2B healthcare solutions.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of payer web applications using Angular or other modern frameworks 
  • Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB. EC2) 
  • Assist in building features that enable insurance companies to access Labcorp data, analytics, and services
  • Explore opportunities to apply Gen AI and AI/ML technologies to improve payer experience and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers through the full software development lifecycle
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Engage in code reviews and learn industry best practices for secure healthcare application development

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree candidate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • Solid foundation in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript,
