The Experience
San Francisco, CA | Palo Alto, CA | Bellevue, WA
Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a meaningful role at Salesforce in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology & Products organizations. TPMs are responsible for programs from beginning to end, ensuring better workflow and more effective communication. They work closely with executives and key company partners to drive critical programs and activities across the company.

The Director of Technical Program Management for Trust & Infrastructure will lead strategic technology programs that drive organizational efficiency and transformation within the Trust & Infrastructure TPM team. This includes programs that accelerate transformation to Hyperforce, Salesforce's infrastructure product offering built on top of third-party public cloud substrates. This person will partner with program leadership teams to drive cross-functional planning and execution across multiple domains — including Engineering, Customer Enablement, Legal, and Product — to deliver key business value.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with mission-critical business deliverables. There will be a steady stream of unforeseen challenges, and with that, communications, coordination, organization, leadership, flexibility, and ownership will be key to succeeding in this role.

Strong candidates will have excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization — from individual engineers to senior executives — as well as a proven track record leading large, highly complex programs. Though this is an individual contributor role, you will thrive in a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Lead programs by aligning teams on scope, release planning, vision, and business goals — crafting program structure and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive Steering Committee meetings with key partners to make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address critical program issues, ensuring business goals and strategic vision are met.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates across functions — including Customer Success Group (CSG), Legal, Product, Sales, Marketing, Security, and Finance — to drive workgroup alignment on dependencies, status, milestones, and metrics.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with urgency, and provide regular program reviews covering current state, risks, and critical issues.

You're Our Person If...
  • You have 10+ years of enterprise software or technical program management experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • You have 5+ years leading Software as a Service (SaaS) product development programs, with demonstrated understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
  • You bring deep experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in dynamic environments.
  • You have outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, and can drive consensus in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.

Even Better If...
  • You have experience with Portfolio Management.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented execution.
  • You're comfortable establishing credibility and rapport with senior executives and individual contributors alike.
  • You have the ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
  • You hold a relat
